Ok, so I am finally getting Basra as a gift (thanks other half!) but wont have it till the 25th. I want to do a little browing and model sifting before hand to get ready and not knowing much about whats in there I'd like to know what, as the Allies, I should be looking to purchase miniature wise.
For small skirmish games like this I like to have most options for a given force, so as the British what models do I need to get?
Cheers.

Fantastic, thanks for the list! I have a few of the tanks already, and enough Brits to field half a dozen detatchments. I just need the 'wierd' stuff from Basra and a suitable boffin type and I will be god to go

And the Arab Legion troops, which are the biggest addition to British forces in the book.
