Ok, it's been mentioned a few times that people would like a robot race/crew. So here's the question what would you like to see? Because if Darkson doesn't have anything in the works, (if they have then I'd be happy to playtest! ;D) then I wouldn't mind given it a shot, and lots of ideas are always helpful. I'm thinking some of the skills like the exterminator class robot and roboticist: Unintelliget, unliving. Though if there was a crew of robots they'd probably need something that was 'intelligent' or some way of getting objectives done. Also what about faction objective - scavaging kit for spare parts, batteries, etc? Let the ideas roll... Duncan

For a robot crew I'd like to see intelligent free willed robots similar to those in Star Wars and ABC Warriors. Basically humans in metal bodies to allow for personality and customisation. So, Unliving but not Unitelligent.
Faction Objectives. Hmmm tricky. Maybe credits based on the amount of Gear choices a killed/captured model has with bonuses for scavenging heavy weapons and opposing robots.
'Racial' characteristics. Maybe an Armour bonus or an extra gear choice and Unliving/Nightvision, with Berserk as a penalty?

Heheheh. Oh the things we could tell you about what's coming next.
You'll be hearing more about some of this stuff in the near future, but Duncan is closer to what will be released.
Most of the robots in the galaxy are not intelligent or self-aware, the Exterminator is a special case of a robot having self-adapting logic trees and essentially "if/else" statements running at extremely high speeds. The next Bounty book will fill you guys in as to why that is.
But I think you guys will be happy. Plenty of customizing options for the robots and plenty of ways to use them in your games. Lots of robot options and model types.
