How do you guys use cover? Do you count cover by being in base contact and giving you the cover bonus from a 360 degree arc? Or is it only if it is between you and the shooter? My groups games are always HEAVY on the cover. Move and shoot kinda thing.
Also flight. Is it OK to use grav belts to get to the top of a tower thats 12" or more tall as a move? How many AP would it take? 3 or more?

We play it that you have to be in base to base contact, but then it's true line of sight. So if the cover is between you and the shooter, then you get cover, if not then no cover. If medium cover from a building for example is a bit 'iffy' (ie not really enough for full cover) then we'll play it as getting light cover instead of medium.
Pheonukz has his 'Lightning Chinese' crew that feature alot of gravity belts (very nasty in some missions too) again we've played it that if the direct line from start to finish can be made with your movement then no proplem, if not then you have to hit the ground. I guess more like a 'jump pack' rather than a flight pack. So if you've got Mv4 and sprint and are stood at the bottom of the building then yes you could get to the top, but truth be told none of the buildings we use are that high, so who knows how we'd do it if it was right in front of us.
Hope that helps, and I'm sure others will churp in if there's other ways of doing it. Duncan

I play as 'true' line of sight. If something is between me and my target, they get cover.
I do have to amend that, though, by saying that the shooter's cover isn't counted as cover on the target.

We assume that you are taking full advantage of the cover by dodging and ducking. So you get the full cover. This does make it hard to kill someone in heavy armor.
