Hi Guys. I played many other tabletops over the last 15 years, but AE-WW II is cool and crazy, so i began to buy a couple of figures, the core rules and now im sitting at my desk and haven´t any clue to bring it together. I wan´t to build an Infantry Detachment from my buyed soldiers. Here it is: Elite : SD Agent, Hero Archaeologist Veteran : German Officer Regular : Wehrmacht Sniper, StG 44 Regular : Wehrmacht Squad, 2 StG 44 Regular : Kriegshund Squad, StG 44 Green : Volkssturm Squad, 3 GEW 43 Green : (unused) Green : (unused) Special Orders: Artillery Support, Fix Bayonets The last two Green Selections are for upgrades. I didn´t had any clue for this. Are this Detachment correct? I´m sorry for my bad english.

(Greetings, sir. Welcome to the forums! The list looks good so far. I would add things to destroy heavy armored targets such as Buffalo or tanks, but otherwise it looks okay. Try it and see if it works for you.
Ich hoffe, es ist Deutsch, die Sie sprechen, und dass Sie mein Deutsch entschuldigen - es ist Google ist schuld, wenn es falsch ist!
Cheers!

I would echo the sentiment regarding some AT weapon - maybe a panzerschreck. Otherwise you could run into problems against heavily armoured enemies like a Buffalo or - God forbid - a tank.

Hmm... Google is dreadful at translating, but atleast the message is understandable. Most of the time it should be avoided, but you can use it as a dictionary lookup for single words. Ich hoffe, es ist Deutsch, die Sie sprechen, und dass Sie mein Deutsch entschuldigen - es ist Google ist schuld, wenn es falsch ist! Yes, they do speak German in Kassel, Germany, Cilionelle. So you guessed it correctly.

Yes, they do speak German in Kassel, Germany, Cilionelle. So you guessed it correctly. It's been my experience that you can never tell which language a person speaks merely by their location...

Usually a person's slang gives away where they are from, but don't worry Oberst, compared to many posters on the internet you still write better english than many native speakers. If something doesnt come through clear we will ask you what you meant.

It's been my experience that you can never tell which language a person speaks merely by their location... It's okay. Wasn't trying to be snide or anything. It was just the way Google had phrased it in German that made it look peculiar to me. But generally speaking in most western european countries we speak our native tongue and then either english or french as a secondary one. A small percentage then also speak a third or even a fourth language. Normally only fugitives and immigrants come up short on speaking the language of the country they reside in, but they will eventually.

You know, just this one topic has quite an international flavour. Unless I'm wrong we have an American, an Australian, a Dane, an Englishman and a German all in this one run. Now we just need to exert our cancerous influence and spread the infection of Darkson Designs throughout the land until Rob achieves his ambitions of global dominance.

It´s cool to see so many people all around the world who´s are playing the same games. Here at my hometown i´m the only one who has this game. I have now the holy mission to test it with my comrades of the "Tabletopclub Kassel" to bring one or two people to this game. Thats not so easy. WW II games are not so popular in Germany. There is much to do...

Well, you can start with Bounty then work your way to WWII.

Although, that way, you might just get stuck in Bounty! (lol)
