Can the "telekinetic push" push a figure up in the air two inches and than let the figure fall the two inches and the figure take the 2+d6 damage.

The official answer is, yes. But we were writing it up in a more official rules speak.

Now, how about pushing a figure into a wall for damage?

Wouldn't that just be the same as dropping them?

That is what I was thinking.

Play it that way for now if you want and think it would be fun to do so. It's your game. We'll discuss that idea and see what we come up with.

But is it worth the AP to do a 2+d6 hit? Most models will have a weapon stronger than that...

Maybe you want to make sure you're not in the model's line of sight next turn, or dropping the model moves it into the line of sight of another of your models.

Yeah, you're right. But if you're lifting a model straight up and dropping it, then no, it doesn't have that effect!

but there is one thing more, when a unit falls it loses 1 ap so if you pushes a unit 2 straigth up the effect becomes
if the enemy fails a str check it suffer 2, str 1d6+2 hits (one from the push and one from falling) and it loses 1 action point

I could be really fun to push a model over the edge of a very tall building. Muhahahahah

Or push the irritating sniper out of cover into the open in front of your big guns!

Or push the irritating sniper out of cover into the open in front of your big guns! My favourite in AE:WWII was to push a model out of CC, then follow up using Keep Moving with the charge (again...)
