Okay this isnt for weapons..well sort of but more for the extra wargear such as grenades etc, so please post some ideas.
Some ideas: -flashlights -smoke grenades -holy item (perhaps function as some sort of armour or wound save?) -gasmask

Gas masks and flashlights are already integrated into every German's helmet according to their fluff. What faction are you thinking this sort of item should be for?

Is that already official fluff? Then these items could be for the other factions? I dont know if this game is going to be a skirmish or larger scaled wargame, so perhaps we shouldnt go in too much detail with the wargear (climatical influences etc)

It`s can be some weapon upgrades: long barell, scope, special ammo, dual round magazine, additional grip. May be battle honour signs. Medal wich indicate a some unit advantage. For example, unit marked like veterans have access to awards list. Each army can have a own real awards like german iron cross or russian medal "For bravery". Or it`s can be some abstract battle honours same for all armies. Possible some sort of body armour: different protection have a different weight and that have a influence to unit movement range, speed and reaction. Think, possible additional targeting device, WH40K TAU have same things. So, different types of grenades: antitank, frag, vacuum(against building), incenerate, electromagnetic, smoke, chemical. War animals, for example, dog with demolition charge or snake stuffed by explosives ;D What about additional camouflage, some clothing or device wich give a cover save or reduced the range of revealing. So, think additional support weapons such a light mortar, flamethrower or recoilless canon also can be choised like wargear.

Medical supplies like a medic kit for field medics and surgeons.
Combat drugs for sure. The Germans pioneered the use of strong modern stimulants.

Combat drugs are a good idea, I think the Germans in our game were already having those.
But the Americans would have them too, I remember something about American pilots being given speed in order to stay awake for so long.
Personal medkits would also be fitting and a more specialised medkit for a field medic or surgeon.

The germans will be the only army with combat drugs.

I'd love to see sculpts for the wargear, too if it is relevant so you can actually model it onto your figure or have it on a base so you can have your figure go "pick it up" or "drop it off." Such as if there is a large radio/radar or explosive charges.

What about some sort of radiationsuit? It would be perfect for the post nuclear London (please put that in there) and other chemical battlefields. However the armour would be weaker since its a fragile suit.

what about experimental weapons?
encryption machines (ie a smaller version of the enigma machine) ?
gieger counters/chemical sniffers for those radiation/chemical "Hot Zones" ?
advanced radio equipment that's able triangulate and jammed radio communications ?
EMP bombs/demolition charges ?
special ammunition - ie depleted uranium rounds; tungsten tip anti armour rounds; tranq rifle that fires chemical rounds designed to either (a) knock-out/incapacitate opponents, or (b) have a disease carrying pathogen/chemical agent to start mass infection/epidemics in opponents ?

Some symbolic weapons carried by officers would be cool: Katanas for Japanese, sabers for English noblemen, and maybe a swagger stick for the Nazi commanders.

Yes, but I do not see them as having any real game value, just as something to look cool.
