I notice from TGN that Warlord Games have come out with a Chindits boxed set. Any plans to put them into AEWWII? With some Burmese guardian statue cats as the weird element?
Please?

We do have plans for the Chindits and I think you might be surprised how we do them.
No promises on guardian cats though. I'd rather not have every mythological critter on the globe given an AE-WWII presence.

Dips on Valkyries! I am looking forward to the Pacific expansion, with the US Marines Island hopping performances and the British Chindits fighting in the steaming Burmese jungles against the Imperial Japanese all the while the Aussies and New Zealanders pray another San Francisco doesn't happen.

I'd like to do something with the San Francisco Quarantine Zone, which I think could make for a very eerie sort of backdrop for a game. Rather like the Charlton Heston film 'The Omega Man'...
The first Pacific book won't have the Brits present (who are going to be next up with a single massive British Empire book) but you'll have plenty of other things to occupy you between the Japanese, USMC and the Australian Military Forces. The Kiwis, I think, will probably be saved for the British Empire and Commonwealth book.

The Kiwis, I think, will probably be saved for the British Empire and Commonwealth book. That's the funny thing about us Kiwis. Even though the Pacific war took place in our backyard, most of our boys (including my grandfather) ended up in the Mediterranian. Either way, it's good to know that the Kiwis are coming. I can't wait to let some of the Maori Battalion boys on those dang Nazis.

Oh yes, we have plans for just about every group that fought in the war.
But we won't be throwing every single mystical cryptid into the war. There's more weird stuff in truth than in fiction with WW2.
