In base contact can a model be pushed off a platform? Would it be a strenght test?

Hmmm, could be interesting to play. As far as I can recall there's nothing about it the rulebook, so it'd probably be a house rule thing, something like this:
I think you'd need to declare what you're intending first of course,roll to hit as for melee, then each player rolls D6+S, if the 'pushing' player wins the model is pushed back. I think that's how I'd play it anyway.

That is what I was thinking, but how far? one half inch for ever point over the pushed roll?

possibly, but might want to keep it simple and just say one base width.

Maybe, push the distance you win the STR roll by? dunno.
