I'm trying to get my group back into AE-WWII - I plan on starting a new campaign hopefully next month. Recently, I painted a bunch of US occult forces. I'm working on creating an occult Veteran Detachment. This is what I've been planning: Elite OORD Agent (using the Officer figure as proxy) Veteran Medicine Man Veteran Bazooka team (might use mortar instead depending upon scenario) Regular Skinwalkers Regular Infantry (2 Garands) Regular Infantry (1 Carbine, 1 BAR) Regular Sergeant The medicine man will have the Wendigo spell - which is the figure I just finished. This is one scary looking figure: I've already built the medicine man and skinwalkers. I wanted the medicine man to look a little bit more like he belonged to the US armed forces - so I sliced off the top of his head and replaced it with a plastic Tamiya helmet. The Indian figures took longer than I expected to paint - the detail on both the skinwalkers and medicine man is amazing - and the bead necklaces took forever to do correctly: The final detachment looks like: I'm working on a German occult detachment as well. I've got a hell-hound package unbuilt and plan on getting the hell-host next. I've got bigger pictures on my miniatures blog: lawndartalpha.wordpress.com/

Good work on the models. They look great and I'd be honored to play against that!

I may have to make that trip to Santa Monica to get a gae in once I get the rest of my SS done.

Thanks for the kind words...I'll post info when we start playing and definitely take pictures and write up AARs. I will mostly likely not actually use this force - most of the local players have American/British troops so I will most likely be running a German SD force (I do love the giant ape).
I also bought a new camera recently - which has also improved my picture taking abilities.

I did on the mix of colors in the fur.
I am chomping at the bit to see the staff painted one. It looks like Cipher packaged the wrong base with it!! He is supposed to be on a 50mm base as he is way to big to be on a 40mm. @*%#€$&

Damn!
That means I mounted mine on a resin base of the wrong size then as well.
I used one of the Pulp Monster bases with some body parts strewn about it. I wanted to do something similar to how I mounted my werewolf.

Yep I know. It's still legal just shy of 10mm.

Mine comes with a 40 mm base too. Fits the miniature perfectly in my opinion, 50 mm is too big.
And nice Wendigo. The fur and the contrast between ribs and guts is great.

They all were packaged at the same place so I guess we can just roll with the F-Up that they did. Im just not a happy camper as it was supposed to come with a 50mm base.
