As I've had many positive experiences with campaign play in other systems I've started one for AE Bounty in the copenhagen area. To spark some enthusiasm I've invited other local gaming clubs to participate and maybe come visit each other during the campaign. The campaign runs over 6 scenarios and encourages multiple plays of each scenario. The events start on Graffi as a terrorist threat interferes with our protagonists. It soon becomes evident that the Apostles are involved in the terrorist attacks targeted against GMC (Graffi Material Corporation) The rules and scenarios can be found HEREWiki with updates on the campaign is HEREThe last 2 scenarios haven't been done yet, but I'm thinking of a more chaotic finish, with unplanned scenarios or scenario rules that alter the required strategy. Some of the scenarios are just variants of those in the rulebook while others are build from scratch. To-the-death scenarios are not so interesting so you won't find any of those. Feedback is welcome and do feel free to steal the ideas if you find them useful. Now if only I could come up with some nice prizes

Put in the unplanned scenario Welcome to Hell from the AE:WWII book, representing an orbital bombardment or something. That would be fun!

I'm really envious that I'm not in the copenhagen area, it really looks great. Duncan

Thanks Duncan!
I've added the last two scenarios and some more campaign rules to keep the administration to a minimum. The first link has the updated document. We launch the campaign tomorrow - I'm excited!

Ah, if only you had waited another month till my rulebook arrived. Hopefully you'll give a campaign another go at some point, when I get my stuff up and running

There's still time ibasse. Were playing scenario 1 until april 13th so you can still make it! The first 4 battles were fought today and the toxic cloud worked rather well unless you were unfortunate enough to choke on it :-) It gave an extra urgency to the scenario. Wiki with updates on the campaign is HERE

The toxic cloud is fun, first game it moved fast and ended up covering most of the table. My second game was over after the second turn, so it didn't have much impact in that one.

Charlie - a space dog of the Heisenberg's Hoodlums Pirate crew - on a drug binge overhear a crew of Bounty Hunters being hired to raid a laboratory, he rush back to Heisenberg with the information. A plan is formulated; wait for the Bounty Hunters to rush toward the Lab and then run in and grab the loot while stomping on their intestines - most of Heisenberg's plan are like this.
Seeing the Bounty Hunters have only one man close to the Lab and he only being covered by two more men Heisenberg is confident in taking the first move, ordring his Suppression Supremes, 3 Phact each two LRF Electrolasers, to move forward so they can suppress the opponents, thus denying them access to the Lab. Huge mistake, the man in front is a Bounty Hunter Gunsel (or Regulator?) who have move and fire with his LRF strapped in a harness and casually walk towards the lab while taking two Phact out. Next the human crewmen are moved into position. Again the Bounty hunters respond with taking out all the human crewmen, forcing the remaining Phact to rout and run out of the battlefield and surrender. So far the Pirates have achieved nothing and have already lost half the crew. Suddenly a toxic cloud spreads with great speed from the Pirates right corner (facing the lab) and soon take down both the Bounty Hunter Lurker and the Pirate Quartermaster - this means the Bounty Hunters in the longer term can no longer suppress Heisenberg.
After the catastrophic first move Heisenberg is desperate, even tho he is above such small concerns as seeing his crewmens bullet ridden bodies littered all over he needs to act quick or the bounty hunters will be able to grab what they came for and run.
The Toxic cloud means that Pirates cannot hang back and shoot or they will all succum to the toxins. All remaining crew members have move and fire so this is a small concern. Heisenberg have faith in his ability to sustain massive damage (unkillable hero) so he move into the open in front of 3 bounty hunters, but he also manage to take one of them down and suppress another. The dice seem to favor this bold plan since the Space Dogs can now move in for the kill, particle beams are crossed at great risk to the cosmos and several turn of suppressive fire, from Heisenberg, and kill shots, from the Space Dogs, see the Bounty Hunter crew torn apart.
The biotoxin spread over most of the table, taking out the Bounty Hunter Lurker and the Pirates Quartermaster.
Next time I will take notes doing the games so I can make a step by step battle report.
I won the scenario 2-1 as defender and then 2-0 as attacker. The report is from the first battle where I was defender.

Our campaign has reached month #2 and a lot of experience with scenario #1 "Uprising on Graffias" is under the belt.
Conclusion: Scenario #1 is well balanced and fun to play. The scenario is very similar to bank robbery but with a toxic cloud used as battlefield condition.
The experience we've gained has also provoked a few house rules. The last addition is a ban on smart weapons after a "red father" with RC 1 and two reloaders destroyed most opposition before any of them could gain LoS to him.

Red faiths are indeed nasty. What though do you mean by "2 reloaders"?
