I did this quick "I'm hanging out with friends" paintjob. Nothing special, but I'm continuing to work on my blending/layering to get smoother and smoother transitions. I can't take a picture worth anything either. Any tips? Attachments:

Here's a random guy with a gun I painted in an hour at Recruits Con this past march. I worked with a blue RMS paint and white along with grey. Only three colors used. I simply practiced more of my blending/layering. Still practicing at it, but I'm happy how he looks at arms length.

Nice work on the Headtaker. He looks great! And the other guy makes me think of what Seatroopers would have been like in Star Wars.

They'll make a nice crew together. Limited paletts really draw a group of models together even if they have different paint schemes - nice work. Duncan

Well, they have stormtroopers and snowtroopers (in white), shadowtroopers (in black); I just figured a Seatrooper would be blue...

Really like blue gun dude - colour(s) go well with his features. Does that base come with the Head Hunter?

That was a Micro Arts Studios base. I think it was called Ruined Power Plant or something.

Not for sure, they just had a big box of models taped to the bottom and said, "Grab one and start painting." I "grabbed one" and thought this would make a great Bounty model. It is Micro Art ruined power plant base that I used.

Yep, that's a Reaper model. Part of the failed attempt to come up with a 28mm skirmish game set in the CAV universe using a variant of the Warlord game engine. They rolled those minis into the Chronoscope line instead.
AICOM Trooper I think was the name.

The name is Nova Corp now and there's about 5 minis in the range it's one I'm working on at the moment.

I might have to see about getting the rest of the line of Nova Corp then.
