Hello all, just played my first couple of AE games and just wanted to clarify firing with weapons where the RoF is 3:1. Now we've got our heads around that means it shoots three times for 1AP, but does that mean that we roll to shoot three times, or do we roll once, but if successful the shot hits three times (i.e. causes three wounds)!?! Suppression would suggest the first, but we wanted to make sure.
Sorry about such a newbie question, Blaxkleric

Correct, it's three shots, not three wounds, meaning you can shoot at three targets or make three attacks against one target.

Thought as much. Knew it was a silly newbie question :-)
Thanks for the swift response.
