Hi everyone this is my first post, forgive the rambling - just trying to get things straight in my own head!!!
I've been a WW2 gamer for over 30 years now and have done most things but have not moved into alternate history until finding ae which settled the score. Anyway I got the druid and green man figs and loved painting them. However, although I really like the look of the SS troops I can't really justify to myself going into a European theater game as I have such an investment of 20mm SS and Red Army. So I'm thinking Far or Middle East or both. The Far East supplements appear to be for the future so Middle East with the Basra book looks a logical starting point. So a couple of questions: Are there any dedicated minis out there for Basra - if not what's planned? Can I use my Druid and Green man for Basra? What are people using for regular minis and in general which range fit the best with Darkson? (to me Darkson are much more truly proportional than a lot that's out there). Are any of the cool SS detachments like Krieghexe in Basra?
Many thanks Andy

First off welcome to the forum Andy.
You can use any of the different types of forces we have covered in any of the settings. So yes you could do an Occult detachment with the Druid and Green man.
As for figs Warlords Bolt Action and Artizan figs work well. It's all a matter of personal taste in the end.
As for the units for Basra we will be doing the Weird units and as we can we will do some of the historical units that are not offered by other miniature companies.
