Just a random post to give you guys a taste on what drives some of the writing and development behind the scenes. Besides the classic pulp fiction, cartoons and movies we loved as kids, there's music. For me personally, music puts me in the mood to write certain things, and the mood I'm looking for changes based on what I'm trying to put down in words. Here's a sample of what gets me going to work on the projects we've got in the works: AE-WWII, The Pacific in Chaos: Black Reign Black Hawk Down soundtrack AppalAsia, www.appalasia.com/ Pittsburghers too! These guys make wonderful music, check'em out. John Lee Hooker, Tulsa Blues AE-Crimson Kingdom: Dax Riggs, especially the songs "Living is Suicide" and "Ourboros", I love the line "Go easy on the Devil, He's a Friend of Mine, Sometimes..." Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon Soundtrack Irish Folksongs Native American Chants AE Bounty, next book , so close to having a review copy complete... George Thorogood and the Delaware Destroyers, Cocaine Blues, pretty much on repeat the whole time Radiohead, anything by them is Sci-Fi in nature. Adele, 21 And then there are a few projects that only Panterra and Rob Zombie can get me fired up to write about... Cheers, Chris
