Anyone painting up any Super Heros for AE? I have a few that I will have to post photos of.
Awhile back I painted a Captian America and a Buffalo in Cap colors. I just finished up Toro and am now working on a squad of Robot Troopers in Caps colors. I plan on doing the rest of the Invaders as well using HeroClix figures. Pics will be posted soon.

I have a Captain America in the works, been waiting for all the right parts. However, now that I have them I can't find where I put the box I stored all the parts in. Damn me and my super-huge collection. I did Liberty from the Secrets of the Third Reich. I also have on my workbench The Shadow, using Reapers Chronoscope The Black Mist figure. I also wrote up a how-to example article on our website using the Incursion Zip Kelly, The Hurricane figure as an example.

You know, you bring up a good idea. It's probably too late for Gen Con but would make a nice convention event. Everyone gets a super hero in their detachment and play Axis Super Villians vs. Allies Super Heroes.
Players have to bring their models with stats and get points for painting and customization on top of the victory conditions.

I agree that it is probably too late for anything official or ticketed, but it sounds like a fun premise for a pick up game. Like maybe Friday night after the tournament if anyone is interested.
We would just have to find some table space which shouldn't be too hard and some terrain.

I don't think it would be to hard to convince Chris to play a game using Superheros.

Oh...twist my arm! Ow. OK, let's play a game or three at GenCon.
Also, there should be a story for a different way to use the AE-WWII rules that includes super heroes. It may or may not be based on a crazy set of suggestions from the AE-WWII Facebook page ;D
Cheers,
Chris

Here's some of what I have lying around the house, in various stages of painting: First the Americans: Liberty Belle, Captain America and Bucky Spy Smasher, second view of Cap (to show off the shield) and Thunderbird And from overseas: the Blue Lama, Lord Plunder, both from the UK, France's Mademoiselle Marie, and the nefarious Silver Samurai. (Names subject to change as I come up with better backstories.)

Nice! I like those. I do have some super heroes for AE-WWII. It's a fun way to play with the rules.
