Just a quick update for those that might have wondered where I've been on the forums for the last three months...writing. Doing lots of writing.
My first children's novel is almost complete, the title is "Dexter Ward and the Sandwich Horror." Aimed at second graders and set in Pittsburgh, it's a fun look at the insanity of modern life through the eyes of children. With a dash of H.P. Lovecraft thrown in. If you ever really wanted to see Charlie Brown kick the football, this book might be for you and your kids.
"Alligator Shorts"is another project I've almost got in the can. It's a collection of poems and stories meant to be shared with children when a parent has to go away for a while. My friends in the military (and my own experiences traveling for work so much this year) were the inspiration behind it.
"The Mice in the Walls," is a young adult novella that I've been working on for a long time. And it's about done too! The children of Denora, Virginia aren't sleeping. A terrible secret that the adults in that town have kept for too long is waking up. Now it's up to the children and the secret survivors of military experiments to set things right before it's too late.
And there's about six different stories and a ton of game rules for Bounty and WWII that have been in the works too.
More to come soon!
Hope everyone is doing well.
Cheers,
Chris
P.S. I hope to see some of you guys at GenCon this year.
