Well my first submissions for my Weird War II Superheroes are now coming along. I've got Zip Kelly the Hurricaine from Incursion, SNAFU mounted and primed. I did some playing around using the OTW rules and made a neat flying hero stats for him. I'll have to dig those up again. However, my 'thou must make Captain America before all other WWWII superheroes' commandment has been holding me back. To make matters worse, all the parts I had accumulated for the project got boxed up and lost in my workshop. I just found them a few weeks ago and this week I've had made not only a lot of progress on Cap, but on Buckey and The Red Skull as well. The heavy conversion work is done, and I'm pretty happy how things are turning out. Next stop is the primer table and we're off to painting. More on the progress of these guys here.

Thanks I'm painting them right now. Blue and white are on Cap and Buckey but I'm having cracking issues with the red again. Not sure what does this but I'm going to try and give them a coat of Dullcote and redo the red again. That seems to work in the past.

Some more progress on Cap, Bucky and The Red Skull. I'm sort of at odds with Bucky. Right now he has the classic mask with the blank Little Orphan Annie eyes. Not sure if to paint them more realistic or not (mask needs a bit more cleaning up too). The other route is to go something completely different. Rather than have that Robin-like mask, what about goggles? Something that keeps the shape, hides the eyes with reflective silver lenses in the same shape. That may require some rework of the face as I greenstuff some goggles into the eyesockets. Also you can see in the background some progress on some of my other Starfleet conversion work. It's sort of a side project of mine, which atcually involves AE: Bounty.

I posted up some stat cards that I made up of Cap, using the OTW#15 rules.
