If it were up to me I would make it more 'sci fi'...not like space ships and aliens, but more high tech stuff, just not horrormovie and action hero stuff.

I totally agree with you on that one.

wow I thought I was the only one here who thought that. But okay Darkson sort of mentioned to me that players of this game will have the freedom of picking how they want it. So it could be like how we want it (high tech WWII) or how the other want it (superheroes/zombieville style). But then again if the background and game would end up being the opposite of what my personal ideas are on it, I'd just get the models for a 40k IG army (which I am intending to do anyway) ;D

Not so keen on the zombies thing it has been done to death ( ;D pun)
As far as what I think of the other lines...... Well I will not put down any other sculpts so they are ok. I have seen other people say that Darkson Designs miniature line is the "Rackham" of Alternate WWII Pulp. So Im happy with the way things are going. Let other lines do zombies and werewolves.

As far as what I think of the other lines....... Well, you guys are definietly the best out there for this genre - nobody even close IMO. I won't even think about looking at the other guys. Keep up the good work. when are there going to be more models for us to see/buy?

Yeah, lets keep Brainmunchers and overgrown mutts out of the game. I am really liking the Hightech (almost scifi but not quite) alternate history WWII. I like that it is a good ambiguous timeframe too. 1946 anyone? I'd love to see some D-Day action with these guys. Not a genre that as truly been done right...until now. Congrats DD.

The competition ups the ante! Wessex Games previews their coming miniatures line! theminiaturespage.com/news/822126/My opinion? - "Warhammer goes World War 2", not surprising though, since the sculptor - Shane Hoyle - used to do some stuff for GW in the past.

Interesting. It seems technically good, but bad in overall quality- the troops are well-sculpted but unoriginal, and the werewolf is ridiculous-looking.
