Okay our version of WWII has more tech, but probalby also more fronts, lets have the basics right? -Western Europe: US, British and Canadians invade Europe -North Africa: Tank battles between English, American and Germans -East Asia: Japan, US, China, Vietnam, few other Asian countries -Eastern Europe: Russians vs Germans Some other ideas as well perhaps? -Madagascar: nazis against the English and local african militas -Brazil/Argentina: Nazis and supporters against local population and American/British Navy -Australia: Japanese try to invade Australia -Latin America: rebellions break out against US presence on the continent, some rebellions end due to Nazis trying to invade other nations side with the Nazis. -Finland: USSr tries to invade Finland please some reactions and other ideas

How about combat in the south pole and the areas areas it? I remember hearing lots of stories of supposed secret U-boat pens in that area (not to mention of UFO bases!).

Uuuhhh...
The USSR did in fact try to invade Finland - the Winter War of 1939-1940. My grandfather fought through that one thankyouverymuch.
The british did in fact capture Madagascar, from a Vichy french garrison force. The reason - to prevent the island being seized by the japanese. The Japanese Navy had been carrying out raids in the Indian Ocean and the UK were justifyably worried.
Two more interesting possibilities:
* Turkey joins the Axis powers in 1942 and advances inte the Caucasus.
* Rommel is victorious at El Alamein and captures Cairo, crosses the Sinai and seizes Palestine and Iraq. German-supported regime installed in Baghdad. Italy occupies Lebanon and Syria.

-I know the USSR tried to invade Finland before, I saw seeing this more as a second invasion attempt. -The British captured it later on, why not have it that the British try to capture it but fail, perhaps Madagascar was used as a lab for the Ubermensch Project or something.
Your ideas: -Turkey: very cool!!! They used to be Germany's allies during the First World War, however a new government took power after the war, what about a Nazi backed coup first before they are loyal to the Axis forces? -Rommel's victory is another interesting idea, I would love to see players being able to reconstruct Rommel's victory.

Wasnt the North Pole the one with the UFO base? I'm pretty sure it was the south pole, but I could be wrong. I'll check into it.

interesting, I like the idea of submarine bases on the Southpole, perhaps have the UFO base on the Northpole, its easier to attack the USA and the USSR from the Northpole than from the Southpole...besides we could create the scenario of a crashed UFO in Siberia

Another thing, I kind of found it fitting here, well it sort of fits here, what about battles inside buildings? Not like cityfight, but more in the lines of the old Space Hulk game by GW. So for example a unit of US commandos send into a Nazi military hospital to free their 'brothers in arms' or something like that.

That would be neat, but I worry that the warmachine bases of the infantry (which are bigger than 40k's bases) might be too large for indoor fighting. I can see some problems with getting people properly fitting in corridors and such.
On the topic of fronts, I think it would be cool to see another one opened for the battle involving the russians and the japanese that almost occured at the end of ww2. Japanese troops in europe would be really interesting IMO.

Warmachine bases? WHY??? Japan vs Russia, the Russians invading China and Korea where the Japanese are would be interesting, however the timeline is going to be kinda weird so the end of the war might not even occur, well we need more info from the DEV team first then. Japanese forces in Europe? How would they get there in large enough numbers? Let them go to Africa or the US they could directly reach that. I mean in order for the Japanese to get to Europe they would either have to go through the USSR or through the US, making it practically impossible for them to reach Europe.

I just thought it'd be a scenario that would've been interesting to see. I suppose we could settle with them being in the Americas without any real problems. Still just as interesting I guess.
