Well here it is I need some feed back..
I have been thinking about this Lab/Underground Facility style game sense it was brought up. It would not be to hard to make this a reality as a first "Game" set in this Pulp WWII world. We would be able to make the rules portion down loadable at the Darkson Designs site. Of coarse all of the cool art and Fluff would be in the "Real" game booklet that would come in the game box with the 2 Forces and game Tiles. I'm thinking the two Starting forces would be Germans and Americans. Each side would have a "Pulp" hero and some cool troops. About 20 miniatures in total 10 on each force. It would be a d6 based system . The box would come with full-color Tiles to play on and loads of scenario's. Plus sculpted objective markers like ammo crates, cryo tubes ect.. The Rules would be usable in the Tunnels/ Catacombs game and on a regular table with Terrain. What do you guys think?
Would a box game work for you guys or would you rather just have a Rule/Background/ Army Lists Book?
Feedback is a good thing here.
Cheers Robert

We have an idea we are playing around with right now.
Down loadable cards for each unit and cards that represent the different weapon options. So as we come out with new weapons you will just need to download the card in order to use that weapon.
This idea cuts down on the price we have to charge for the miniatures as we will not need to print card packs. And it will save you the hassle of trying to find a place that stocks everything we sell. So its a win win.
This is an idea that is still in the works. Things can change by the time the game comes out so bare with me.

imo: the boxed game sounds like a good idea. a bit like space hulk. i say release army books like GW, in the game starter box include 2 of these +rule book+ models + terrain + a scenario booklet, this will ensure a great starter game.

The one thing about doing a box game is I want to make sure the price is fair I don't want to create a $75.00 USD box I want to keep it between $40.00-$65.00 USD. By having more than one book in the set you increase the cost quite a bit. The other problem is how many box games to make for a for a first run. Being a small company we do not have the funds to just sit on a 1000 games and hope they sell. We have allot on our plate with the creation of this game and allot to think about. With that being said this board is here to get help from all of you as your input counts. Druning the creation stages of the concept art we look to this board for ideas of what you want to see.
OK enough rambling for now. ;D

okay heres what you could do just include 10 figures on each side, then the rule book, you could then do a book that has the basic profiles and weapons then as you release new weapons and units put up online downloads like you suggested. Then at the end of the year release a compilkation of all the new units like in chapter aproved. as for terrain some basic sanbags and hedges would be cool.

Sandbags would be cool but I don't know if hedges grow in tunnels. ;D

Collapsed tunnel segments would be nice, especially if there were rules for demolishing the debris to break through (perhaps the Engineers again...)

Hmm I would go for publishing the rules for free and having the fancy rulebook (pretty looking thing) for sale.

Tunnel fighting works for me. You could shamelessly steal from Rackham and have a hunt for Nazi labs...Or a fightin the Moscow subways. Include some boards, 5-10 men (including a Hero on either side) and see how it goes. Just as an introduction.

I am not sure this is the rigth topic, but speaking of the price of the box, do you have any idea yet as to how much it will cost to have it send overseas?

I'd advise a QSR by the way.....look at Infinity as a way to create an Internet based game...
