Hey
Just wondering, are the special figures you have going to be available from your online store while you're at GenCon. Unfortunately I'm too poor to attend.
Also I've heard that you're giving out free occult figures to those who participate in the games, I don't suppose these are going to be for sale on the online store as well are they?

The Special "Indy" miniature will be for sale in the shop while we are at Gen Con.

That is good news, as I too cannot afford the trip out to GenCon, but I can certainly afford a miniature or two from your online shop!

Hurrah, now all I need to do is convince my mate he needs the German special characters (which won't take much work) and I can order some stuff at the same time.

No it won't. I'm a sucker for Ladies sporting large anti-tank weapons. Mechaace and I had our first few games and we are really enjoying the system and figures. Trying to get a few other guys on board now.
Actually Mechaace and I are having a few problems trying to get hold of Darkson stuff in the UK. A certain supplier has still got an order of mine outstanding from some 5 months back now which is a bit disappointing. May need to go direct unless things sharpen up here in GB

If you are still having issues please send an email to : info@darksondesigns.com and we will check with them to see if they need any restocks. Or you could go direct as shipping from the USA to the UK is quite low and the exchange rate is well in your favor.

Thought of going direct, and frankly at this rate it might be faster.
The only problem right now seems to be with the amount of packages that are disappearing on trips from the US to the UK.

Its getting closer. Here is a look at the Gen Con Indy miniature that I painted, I still need to base him: This is a single part miniature that comes with 2 different heads. The first one is the one you see here and the second is wearing a Fedora. ;D Yes you will get this miniature FREE if you are signed up to play in one of the games we will be running and yes you will be able to buy him from the online shop if you will not be able to make it to the show. We will also have all of the previous Special Edition miniatures for sale in the Online shop if you missed them the last time they were available.

I'm glad to hear you'll have them available online during the show. I've always found the 'con attendee only' miniatures tacky and elitist, not to mention frustrating for the fans that can't make it. The figure looks great.

i'm not sure if it's been asked before but will the occultists book be on sale by gencon? If not is it safe to assume that a copy will be able to be browsed through during the games at gencon?

No and yes. We're hoping to have a tentative release date by GenCon and we will definitely have a very rough preview copy (don't expect it to look exactly like the finished product). The GenCon campaign will be using lots of rules, scenarios and units from the occult expansion and you can definitely expect to see a few of the occult units making their first appearance in metal at the show - unfortunately, they won't be for sale yet either. So, for those of you taking part in the game (or just coming to watch), be prepared for some occult fun! Great question cerealkiller! Thanks! -Matthew

Quite like the look of the occult model. Any hints as to what faction he's for?

I hope to pass by and hopefully participate (didn't get a chance to pre-register and get my events in time). But glad to see that a small 'preview' of the rules will be available to peruse.

Hi All, I wanted to know where I would be able to grab a demo or hit a booth at this year. I am not seeing any thing but your games listed and I am very interested in the game.
