It's official! Our events are up at the GenCon Indy site for this August, 2008! We will be running six events throughout the convention. Here are the dates/times: Thursday, August 14th, 11:00am Thursday, August 14th, 3:00pm Friday, August 15th, 11:00am Friday, August 15th, 3:00pm Saturday, August 16th, 11:00am Saturday, August 16th, 3:00pm Each event will be made up of two simultaneous games of AE-WWII. Each game can have a maximum of four players, two per side. We'll be running a story-based 'tree' campaign for the whole weekend and each event will determine those following it. The last event on Saturday will be a single battle-royale. Those of you that participated last year will remember that the Americans pulled out a decisive victory against the Germans, so this year I expect some payback! The theme for this year's campaign will be 'Occultists on the Eastern Front'. Allied forces on the Eastern Front attempt to track down and defeat the dark mystics of the Russian Liberation Army and their German allies. We will be previewing the rules for the upcoming Occult Expansion as well as some of the new models. We're really looking forward to GenCon this year and I think everyone will be pleasantly surprised at the events we'll be running. I hope to see you all there! Check out the GenCon website www.gencon.com for more details and to register now! -Matthew

Hopefully I will have my models fully painted by then.

Try and grab whatever spots are left. We'll also have some demo games going on in open gaming, most likely run by Partisans and there are certainly going to be pick-up games all throughout the convention. Be sure to check out the AE-WWII/Pulp City crossover events too! Can't wait to see you guys there! -Matthew

What exactly are the crossover events? Is Pulp city a Darkson Design game system also? Hi there dragonlady! We're good friends with the guys over at Pulp City, we love their game and vice-versa. We were talking with Morf over at Pulp City and thought it would be fun to do some cross-over events since the 'pulp' elements of the games lend themselves well to each other. Each of the two events will follow a theme whereby the Pulp City and AE-WWII worlds collide. One event will use the AE-WWII rules while the other will use the Pulp City rules. Both events should be a blast and we hope to expose our fans to their game and their fans to ours. I think everyone playing in these events will have a great time. Hopefully we'll see you there! -Matthew

Well, I'm already signed up, as it was the only aewwii event that I could fit into my own work schedule at the convention.
I found the other site and I'm checking it out also.
Thanks

Hey Dragonlady! Nice to see ya here. I signed up for the cross over event also. I wasn't able to the AE rules cause of other commitments but I was able to do the pulp city rules on Sunday.

We can compare notes on the games after we each play!
I'm really looking forward to this convention. Between AEWWII and Pulp City, it looks like there are some nice new miniature rules and games coming out!
