And now I want to make an evil priest-type like Rasputin from the beginning of the first Hellboy movie, with those crazy-huge Mignola gloves... He actually only has 1 glove (on right hand like hellboy fist) to serve as the key that hellboy (and his hand) act as. Still its a cool concept. I don't know if it'll work too well but the model is cool. its called "the mad monk" also same model for "Rasputin" out of the horrorclix base set. Check the first issue of Hellboy, pages 4&5 (5 for the pose). Tried to find pics but my google-fu is weak today... Also, nope, it's not the horrorclix Mad Monk (that was a LE with ghosts pouring out of his stomach?) It's a converted Indy Heroclix Rasputin. Work too well? I'm not expecting to actually open a rift with the little guy

I don't know if it'll work too well but the model is cool. its called "the mad monk" also same model for "Rasputin" out of the horrorclix base set. It's a lovely sculpt, but it's also hella large. I was pondering modding the Superfigs Dark Templar sculpt, but I think removing that cape would be more trouble than its worth

You are correct the "mad monk" is the LE version. I had originally thought that there was a non named (rare/common/uncommon) figure with the same sculpt as the "rasputin" model. The rasputin is the same figure but its just a unique out of the regular set (easier if only less so to get than mad monk)
The portion about how well it would work was pertaining to the fact that its a robust model but still its only a single dial clix model so might not be that bad as a centerpeice type model.

Well Im running RPGs in those morning slots so I can get stuff together, and if not enough people show I'll be available to play. At the very least I'll have terrain and minis to use.

Chuck and John, Here are the crashed nazi foo fighters for GASPCON. One for each table. I made the molds pretty robust, and glazed the interiors so we can make as many more as necessary. They're based and covered in sand. I'm going to have them painted up soon. Let me know if you guys need anything else. -Chris

Perfect! Now I can run 2 different scenarios with the same terrain.
Thanks Chris! I look forward to seeing them in person.

Glad you like'em! Here's a sample of the ruined church bases for the werhmacht that goes with the flying saucer. I'm having too much fun with grave stones and gargoyles. OK, now back to painting AE:Bounty...

well. I didn't finish this for GASPCon in Pittsburgh. Mostly do to lifus interuptus. But here are some pics we took as we finished today. We still need to: 1. Clean up the flock 2. dry brush the swamp and place water effects in. 3. Add talus to the tracks 4. more debris around the crater and blast areas. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, please let me know. Keith and I are looking for some ideas to work with the bomb craters. We hope to finish this on Wednesday evening, right before New Years. Once that is done, maybe we can get Chris to stop by and we'll actually get a game in with an actual report and pictures!

Chuck,
The work you and Keith have done looks great! I'll be glad to stop by and play a few games. Hopefully the baby will cooperate and we'll be able to get them in this month.
Happy New Year!
Chris
