I would like to welcome the new members to the forum. You are joining up at a very exciting time. We are currently working on the Rule System for the AE-WWII miniature line. Your participation and input is very valuable in the further development of the miniature line. All ideas are taken into consideration and as some of the more experienced forum members can tell you they do have an impact on how this line progress's. Again welcome and we look forward to your posts.
Cheers, Robert

For all of the new forum members please feel free to post a bit about yourselves here. Where you are from, how you found us, and what factions are you looking to play? Plus what ever else you want us to know.
Cheers, Robert

Howdy all,
I got to try out AE-WWII at GenCon this passed week. It was a blast. I only got to play in the last game, but it was enough to "hook me". Now I have a few mini's to paint!

It was great that you had a chance to play the game and I'm glad you had a blast. Both Mat and I had a great time at the con and hope people got a chance to see our passion for creating a well rounded fun game.

Hey, howdy to the Darkson guys and all my fellow alt-WW2 enthusiasts! Darkson, your stuff looks very cool, you guys are obviously pouring heart and soul into this game. I remember many hours of playing necromunda and inquisitor and wishing for a wierd WW2 game on that scale, and here it is, only much much better! Can't wait to pick up your core rules in December. Keep up the good work!
WW2, what an endless source of inspiration! There's so much that can be done in this genre, awesome to see folks stepping up to fill the void.

John welcome to the adventure. This game has been in the works for a while now and the Team is excited to see so many people with the same interest as as. Our goal is to create a game where you don't need hundreds of miniature's to play. We wanted to have a game that we wanted to have painted forces on the table in a painless amount of time and play a fast paced game with a the ability to have a story behind why we are playing. We are so looking forward to December when every Weird War and Alternate Events fan will finally have an outlet for their gaming adventures.
Cheers, Robert

Yep, that's me. An admirable vision for your game, and it appears you are well on your way toward it! Fortunately for us both the number of gamers crazy about Alt-WW2 is legion, and the source material (history and pulp) has neither floor nor ceiling.
Good luck, man, can't wait to see your finished product!

From one designer to another, thanks John! You definitely hit the nail on the head about the 'Weird War II' genre. So many possibilities, so little time. With the influx of attention towards the setting (Hellboy, Dust, Tannhauser, etc) I think we're all in for some great times ahead. Thanks again for the kudos! We look forward to watching Secrets of the Third Reich come into its own. -Matthew

Well, I was asked to write something in here, so I do. I first saw AE WWII at Battlefield-Berlin a year ago or so and now I took a look at you too to see what have been done in this time and well, I looked into your forums and were fascinated by all of your ideas. There are so much Weird War Two games where the designers put Zombies in it. And when they think for new ideas, they put even more and more and more Zombies into it. -_- Well, I see, you have Zombies too but also really cool technological stuff. So, I´m gladly waiting for my first Robot Troopers to build a german "Sonderwacheinheit" from it. (as I said, I like the weird technology even more than the zombie and genetical stuff)

Again welcome to the Forum Havi. One huge difference that sets AE-WWII apart from the others is we do not have Zombies. You can ask the other Forum members as I am sure they can point you to a few post that will reflect how I feel about Zombies in AE. ;D Its great that the folks from Battlefield-Berlin are stocking AE-WWII miniatures. I know next week we will be sending them the latest releases so check back at the shop later this month for the NEW stuff. If you happen to play any games of AE at the shop make sure to snap some photos and post them on the forum. ;D Look forward to seeing your "Sonderwacheinheit" in the Creative Workshop section. Cheers, Robert
