Vetyper that's exactly the reason I got involved with Darkson too... the darkson minis are super realistic and human looking as opposed to the others, just check out the comparison Artizan Design vs. Darkson Design on the creative forum sub - group, it's like sunday morning comics vs. the real deal haha, WELCOME!

Oi!! regarding getting a distributer here in Oz, it might be an idea to get in touch with Military Simulations.
their website is http:www.milsims.com.au
they usually have a pretty good range of gaming gear, and they do post international, as well as pretty quick delivery for all of us that reside in Oz

We are in the process of starting to contact LGS that people have suggested. It looks like we will be giving away quite a few Starter Forces. ;D

Hi guys thought i'd take the time to introduce myself here as it seems like i've been bitten by the AE-WW2 bug thanks to TTGN excellent coverage from gencon indy and now the rulebook is ready for pre-order.. hooray!! Anyway another Aussie here from NSW just ordered myself American and German starters as a late christmas gift for myself I think i'll have to contact customer service though as standard shipping was the only available option and the shipping for international was too low so I think i'm going to have to make a further payment or something? Anyone else internationally ordered directly from Darkson? Either way i'm looking forward to getting my shiny new toys!!

Awesome! Send me an email if I need to arrange for a higher shipping payment. I'll now happily add myself to the Locator thread

I thought I would take a second to introduce myself. I stumbled across this game while browsing TTGN, and after listening to the audio interview, I was totally sold. Besides, who doesn't like the alternate WW2 genre? It just oozes with flavor!
I've put together an army builder file for the quick start rules and once the main rulebook is out, I'll update it to reflect that. Hopefully some people will find it of benefit.
For now I'm eagerly awaiting my American holiday deal from Fantization (and the rulebook, of course).

Welcome to the forum. Glad you found AE-WWII we are very excited and can't wait to see the feedback on the rule book. We have had so much fun working on this project. Our goal was to put out a game that we like to play' that is fast paced and affordable. I think it also helps that we are producing some kick ass miniatures to help get the feel of AE. We did not want playdoh looking miniatures and we did not want your now typical huge 32mm miniatures. The war is coming and 2008 is going to rock.
Cheers, Robert

Hi, After a gentle nudge towards this thread, I'm taking a minute to introduce myself. I've been a fan of alternative WW2 for a few years now (books, comics, movies and minis) and am responsible for the Weird War II and World War II showcases over at frothersunite. wk.frothersunite.com/sc/pulp/weirdwar.htmwk.frothersunite.com/sc/pulp/ww2.htmFor the rest, I've pre-ordered the rules and some minis and look forward to getting them. ;D
